What is parental alienation really like — not for the parent, but for the child?
In this video, I speak openly from personal experience. Most discussions around parental alienation focus on the parent who has lost contact. But today, I look at it from a child’s perspective — because children are often the last people anyone truly thinks about during separation and conflict.
Having experienced parental alienation as a child, and later as a parent myself, I share:
This isn’t about attacking anyone. It’s about honesty. It’s about acknowledging that when parents are in conflict, the child often suffers the deepest and longest-lasting consequences.
If you’re a parent going through separation, please think carefully about the long-term impact your decisions may have.
If you’ve lived through this yourself — as a child or a parent — feel free to share your thoughts in the comments. Let’s keep it respectful.
