Listen Later

Most roots in Arabic are made up of three consonants. The root of a word in Arabic is a set of consonants that carries the core meaning of the word.
These three words share the same root, which is أمن.
Here are the meanings of these three words:
'aman', should read: 'amaan': أمان, safety, security, protection, or trust.
'amanah', should read: 'amaanah': أمانة, honesty, integrity, or trustworthiness.
'amani', should read: 'amaanii' (though technically can only take a final long ii when definite;
when indefinite, it is “amaanin”آَمانٍ):
أماني, hopes, aspirations, or dreams.
