Diary of a Pandemic

What is this thing?

Listen Later

As Kianga and Rachel embark on this pandemic experiment, you'll come to understand what the experiment is, why they're doing it, and the foundation upon which it was built. This one's a little dense, so there are some notes below:

Diary of a Pandemic was built on three suppositions. The first is that there’s a global pandemic happening as we speak that is reorganizing a lot about what we expect from the world. The second is that unconditional freedom is freedom in all conditions. The third is that the play between the first two is bound to create whole new possibilities for how we human.

Tenets:

  1. Everything is happening for me.
  2. In every moment, I have the choice to expand or contract; staying the same isn’t really an option.
  3. My life purpose and path are connected to fully expressing and experiencing all that my soul wants to express and experiencing.
  4. I am worthy of everything I desire.
  5. There are infinite things I’m not in control of, but the one thing I am in control of is how I show up.
  6. 5 Questions that inspired this experiment

    1. What is this creating the space for?
    2. What do *I* really want?
    3. What do *we* really want?
    4. What new systems and understanding have to emerge to make that possible?
    5. How do I take responsibility for my part in this?
    6. 3 Hopes we have for the project

      1. That these diaries of our experience will lead to our own personal growth.
      2. That, if you choose to join us, your diaries of your experience will do the same for you.
      3. That conversations with others who see also the possibility in this moment will support the emergence of new paradigms.
      4. The Daily Questions:

        1. How was I feeling today?
        2. Who was I being today?
        3. What was I wanting today?
        4. Three things I observed today.
        5. What did the ‘Rona offer me or ask of me today?
        6. How did I respond to that offer/request?
        7. Join the community here to share your reflections on these questions, or a set of your own.
