In this episode, I talk about the three pillars of transformative self-care. The word “self-care” has been co-opted and thrown about somewhat recklessly lately. I’ve heard commercials that talk about how getting a sugar-filled frothy drink is self-care. And it CAN be if you’re not worried about sugar intake or weight struggles. But for most people, a sugar-filled frothy drink likely doesn’t align with their ideal care practices. So what is transformative self-care? The first pillar is how we think about ourselves. The second pillar is how we speak to and about ourselves. The third pillar is how we treat ourselves. These all work together to form our relationship with ourselves and can help us get out of our own way.
