In today’s episode, we will first learn about our “Saint of the Week”, Joseph Marchand, a French Missionary and his efforts to bring the faith to Vietnam. We will hear a homily for the First Sunday of Advent about the Gospel that stresses the importance of being watchful and alert. In the segment “Catholics in the News”, we will learn about a Bishop’s Bishop, Cardinal Francis George who recently retired as Archbishop of Chicago. In the segment, “I Don’t Get It”, I will attempt to figure out why a 90-year-old chef faces possible jail and fines for feeding the homeless. We also have a new segment to introduce, entitled, “Truth in the Media”. In this segment, we will look at various media such as film, television, books, etc. that actually tell the Truth. Finally, during our Truth Topic of the Week, we will hear about the leader of the U.S. bishops’ religious freedom committee who states what the government denies – that religious freedom is indeed under attack. All of this plus music from the AJ Christian Band who sings to God, “Lord, We Love You.” This and more on Episode 15 of What is Truth?
