The Jewish leaders, the Roman governor, and the crowd all contributed towards the decision to have Jesus crucified (even if Pilate was somewhat reluctant). But what is our verdict on Jesus? Do we agree that he is the Messiah, the Christ, God incarnate? If so, have we submitted our lives to him, and benefited from him taking our guilty verdict and punishment on the cross as our substitute?
