This week’s takeaway: Ecclesiastes has an important message, especially for a culture that wants to be pampered and coddled. This book comes to us with a sobering message: Life is meaningless—unless it is lived in a right relationship with God. How can we be right with God? The gifts of Jesus Christ, our Savior, make it so. Live wisely. “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!” (Psalm 111:10).
