He also has extensive Board experience, which includes being Founder and Chairman of Creative England Ltd, and a trustee of Battersea Arts Centre and Whitechapel Gallery.
In 2015, John was awarded an OBE for 'services to creative industries and the arts' and is an Honorary Professor at Hong Kong University.
