This Christmas we will be challenged to think creatively about a character that doesn’t actually appear in the biblical accounts of the birth of Jesus, yet who can teach us much about making room for what is eternally important.

By the time the prophet Isaiah was an old man, we was ready for God to break open the sky and come and make himself known in great might and power.
