What makes us all so dumb is trying to fit into the box that is perfection. What I mean by “dumb” is our ability to express, the unique language our lives speak. Perfection literally hijacks our authentic expression. Ellen talks about this as well as the importance of “imperfect” expression.

I have come to know and understand that the most important relationship we have is the one we have with ourselves. Coming into relationship with Self is not easy as it requires meeting ALL parts of Self. Perfection encourages that we hide ourselves and shut certain parts of ourselves away from public view and even our own view. Perfection keeps us living edited versions of our truth.
