  • Loving the Right Things
    Scripture:  John 6:27
    Sermon Series: How to Adult
Adulthood doesn’t come with an instruction manual. Through trial and error and the example of others, we’re largely left to just figure it out. Some days we are hitting our stride and other days, well, we are making a mess of things. Through it all, we find ourselves in a culture that offers increasingly fewer cues for what it means to flourish and to live faithfully told simply to "chase our dreams," to "follow our passions” and not hurt anybody else along the way. Thankfully the Christian faith offers a picture of a mature living that is clear and compelling, albeit counter-cultural. It’s a picture of adulthood made in the image of Jesus, whose short life not only saved the world from sin and death, but shows us how to live and win the world—as adults—with a profound purpose.

  • "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit."
    Scripture:  Luke 23:46
Sermon Series: Last Words of Jesus
As Christ clung to the cross, he uttered a handful of parting words to the world He was leaving and loving through his death. In this series, we’ll examine Jesus’ last words and discover what they teach us about our crucified King and what they mean for all those who follow after him.

  • The Parable of the Great Banquet
    Scripture:  Luke 14:12-24
    Sermon Series: Incredible words.
In Jesus’s Kingdom, everything is upside down. The weak are the ones who win, the last are the ones he considers first, and the most desperate and dysfunctional are the ones who receive the bulk of his riches. To illustrate just how offensively opposite his ways are Jesus was fond of telling stories of extreme grace.
