After a long quiet year in 2022...Haziq and Haikal are back with a new lepak season! Our first episode in this 2023 season features a Fellow Perdana Alumni and his wildest internship experience ever. Meet Muzammil as he shares his story on shadowing one of the ministers under Ismail Sabri's administration, navigating the ever-chaotic parlimentary sessions, and understanding the meaning of leadership.

We are back with season 3 and we are starting off with an interesting guest! (and yes.. we did post this a bit late) The name of our first guest for this season is the one and only Syed Azmi. Quite vocal in being a child activist we here take a step back to know who he is as a person and understand his work as an activist. #JomAhLepak

We've finally reached the final episode of our 2nd mini series, what a ride! In our last segment we talk to Jeremiah Loo on his unexpected call to the Olympic Games at the very last minute. In contrast with that, we got to understand a bit more of artistic gymnastic and explore more of Jeremiah's love for sports. 

For the majority of this episode we spoke in English. As we move in to our second episode, we invite Phee Jinq En to explore her insights on how competing in the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) in the United States improved her performance in competitive swimming. We also delve in her experience at the past 2 Olympics (Rio & Tokyo) which was remarkable shocking and interesting. Listen to the end to hear some encouraging advice in pursuing the athletic career!

For the majority of this episode we spoke in Bahasa Melayu. We finally start of our second mini series with uprising talent in Malaysian Cycling, Fadhil Zonis! in this episode we uncover his origin in competing in competitive track cycling and what it feels like to be a part of the Malaysian national Cycling Team. In contrast with, we later talked about how competitive keirin is played and his hopes in part-taking the Paris Olympic in 2024. Definitely a inspiring episode coming from the man himself. We hope Fadhil will finally reach his Olympic dream and compete in the worlds most prestigious multi-sport event!  

We are ending off our last theme of the year with the creative Jiven Sekar from The Salad Show. Currently, Jiven is a content creator on YouTube and has created outstanding short films, music videos and funny skits we all can enjoy on his channel called The Salad Show. In our last episode today we invite him to explore his motivation on creating content online and also dive through his thoughts on making effective storytelling to his audience. In this episode we lepaked with the band members of Son Of A Policeman! It was a fascinating insight as we got to delve into their humble beginnings of starting the band till becoming one of Malaysia's Rising Indie Pop Band. We also got to know how the music industry works in Malaysia from an indie band perspective. In contrast with that, we got to understand how they write their songs as well as the messages they want to bring in their music. To all SOAP fans, you can get a little sneak peak of their new EP coming out next year!

One of the most lepaked episode with our guest, we collaborated with Roeshan from The Rumah Roy Podcast. In this episode we touched on a lot of topic regarding how the pandemic has changed us culturally in Malaysia. The three of us shared our thoughts and stories of our time during this time of crises. Among the things we emphasized on were our work routine, university life, how we socialize and create memories with people online, the difficulties of getting/renewing a drivers licenses (yes we talked about the incredible all terrain Myvi) and the up rise of many national and international issues that were being discussed on social media.
