When Christian musicians and others walk away from the faith, we don't recognize the thing they are walking away from. A close examination of Christian musician, Jonathan Steingard's testimony of apostasy from the faith finds that he wasn't taught the Bible. The analysis is helpful to better understand the typical vacuous arguments held up against the faith. The problem of evil is not a problem for the biblical Christian, but it remains a problem for every atheist, every materialist, every eastern religionist, and every person who cannot believe in one, true and living, sovereign God over heaven and earth.
