As we discuss Health & Healing in this Bible study series, you may have wondered before: what about Job in the Old Testament and all of the sickness and calamity he experienced? How does that fit in with God’s plan for our health and wholeness? Did God actually cause all of that to happen to Job? Or, did He really have to allow it to happen? — And why? 

This is one story in the Bible that many of us have gotten wrong — and it's so unfortunate because wrongly dividing the Word in this case has hindered many people from believing it is God's will to heal them. (By the way, God DOES want you healed!) 

We’re going to dive into it today and see what the Bible says about Job, look at the permissive vs. causative tenses in the Hebrew language and see how God's goodness made Job's story ultimately one of victory and triumph. What we uncover might surprise you!
