God gave Abraham what he needed to be the friend of God.

The story of Abraham is a key story to understanding the redemptive nature and power of our God to keep His promises.

Faith brings our participation in God's purpose.

Father's bring blessing, purpose, and inheritance. Salvation comes today to Sons of Abraham.

Our faith and hope are in God (1 Pet 1:21), but without faith, we have no have hope.

God's power is what gives Abraham descendants, children of promise.

Assurance, power, comfort, and perseverance are saving and transforming by nature. They come from God's promises, not from human performance.

Hope does not disappoint us (Rom 5:5). Hope is a dynamic element of perseverance and encouragement. God is offering us all of these daily, in His Son, Christ Jesus!

All of scripture is given to unfold, reveal, the plan of God in the gospel of Jesus the Christ. When we consider the story scripture in the context of the gospel, God's plan of redemption, it makes sense.

The Devil cannot and would not defeat sin, man cannot defeat sin, only God has the desire and the power to defeat sin!
