An important part of God's covenant with ancient Israel was for them to participate in what He gave them through the covenant He made with them. Our covenant is Jesus and in Him we, too, are called to participate in what He brings us access, atonement, and standing as covenant children.

The message of the gospel and its promises were the answer to all the early church's problems. Still today, the promises of God to us in the gospel are powerful to help us face our problems.

In all the sacrifices of the Law of Moses, their ceremonies, and the intercession of the priesthood, the LORD was calling His people to know Him. Every aspect of His call was to equip them for the purpose of God before them.

God in love gave His Son that He might give His love, His Spirit to His people. We get to live lives that reflect this!

God blessed ancient Israel with a way to remember the multi faceted peace He gave them. It was peace with God, self, and brethren. A heart for God remembers and manifests this peace in fruitful ways (Lev 3; Matt 22:34-40z).

Obedience is the fruit of thankfulness, gratitude, and faith, recalling what God has done grows them all within us!

Christ brings peace to us that is powerful enough to rule in our hearts and lives, if we will let it!

The Peace/Fellowship Offering for ancient Israel was a call to acknowledge, engage, and live out of the life of peace the LORD had given them (Lev 3). God's blessings become powerful to those who trust in Him!

Family, food, and thanksgiving, these are all from God. He created them, physically, to sustain life. He creates them on a spiritual level through covenant.
