What Should I Watch

The MCU is back on Disney+ and our podcast! We discuss if Hawkeye hits the mark (get it!) or if the aging somewhat-super hero should have stayed in retirement. Immoral Compass tests the depravity tolerance of the crew, but is it good?. In True Story, Kevin Hart plays someone very like himself along with poor […]

This week The Card Counter bamboozles the team, are we at the mercy of false advertising? Mark’s excitement peaks as we finally review the Amazon Prime production Wheel of Time, with Mike coming in a close second for Rosamund Pike. We return to Korea for the first time since Squid Game in Episode 15, this […]

Episode 17 is upon us and we tackle the Eternals, filled with hope that this ensemble will merge Game of Thrones and the Walking Dead with the MCU and create an emergence of quality cinema! After barely shedding the dust from Shang Chi, Eternals might have their work cut out. Conspiracies abound on Netflix‘s Inside […]

Laid low for two weeks by the great plague of our time, the team return hale and hearty. Mark still seems to have a sore spot about pronunciation from the great Vigil debate in Episode 11, that rears its head once more in discussing Dune (Dew-n or June people, pick a side!). We debate the […]

We have made so many informed decisions on what you should and shouldn’t watch this week that it might be classed as foolishness to turn on your TV without listening! After getting some bad news about Y: The Last Man that we reviewed in Episode 13. We gaze unflinching into controversy giving our take on […]

Much like acquiring a taste for strong liquor, the team has been averse to Steve’s F1 minute, but with each week it get easier! This week Steve gives us a run down on the Russian Grand Prix and the weather. Our review slate this week opens, like Broadway after the pandemic, with Dear Evan Hansen. […]

If there is one thing that divides friends its Cocaine. Well, by divide I mean we disagree and by cocaine I mean Netflix documentary Cocaine Cowboys: The Kings of Miami. We do the classic contrast and compare against Episode 11‘s Untold documentary and back it up with Mark’s mathematics homework. Y: The Last Man leads […]

Shang Chi and the Legend of the 12 Rings! We reviewed it at last! But wait, I am overexcited by the latest MCU instalment hitting the show after missing it last week, lets start at the beginning. Steve arriving early to the podcast studio leads to a discussion on F1, strangely. We compare the ravages […]

The podcast very nearly derails this week over the pronunciation of Vigil, a BBC submarine drama. Yes, that is a genre now. We contrast new Netflix animated comedy Q-Force with Archer and decide if either represents a “Queer and Present Danger“. David Harbour is among the Q-Force cast that has us revisit Episode 6‘s Black […]

We take our courage in both hands this week to revisit a horror of our childhoods: Candyman! The Witcher TV show becomes a divisive element in the proceedings as we discuss The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. Is the Henry Cavill live action show better or worse than Netflix‘s anime offering? Nightmare of the Wolf […]
