In this episode of What the experts have to say Rowan is joined by Geoff Johnson at the BAHVS event 2019.

 

They discuss why Geoff is an advocate for raw and he explains that at first he actually wasn't after a colleague recommended giving his dogs raw chicken wings, however, he didn't want to as he thought this would puncture his dog's gut but after a persistent colleague assuring him he gave it a go and soon realised that this was the right choice.

 

He started recommending this to clients and noticed changes in their dog to, this is when he realised that giving a dog what they had evolved to eat was the best way forward.

Geoff then tells Rowan he believes in a straight switch to raw and he has had very little issues in doing this straight switch.

 

They then discuss what encouraged Geoff to take this career path, he tells Rowan how this passion with animals started from an early age and he was so interested in the insides of animals.

 

Lastly, they discuss titre testing where Geoff explains he doesn't understand why every vet doesn't offer these.
