  • Ep. 22 - Ayurveda & IVF: A journey of rebalance and reconnection

In today’s episode of What the F – From Infertility Exhaustion to Peace, Tina explores the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and how it can serve as a powerful complement to your IVF journey. Ayurveda isn’t just a healing system; it’s a holistic approach that balances your body, mind, and spirit—something that’s often needed when you’re feeling overwhelmed and drained from the emotional and physical toll of IVF treatments.

Tina shares her own experience with Panchakarma, an Ayurvedic deep detox treatment, and how it helped restore balance, energy, and peace during her IVF journey. She dives into how Ayurveda can help with hormonal imbalances, reduce stress, and improve overall fertility health through simple practices like herbal remedies, self-care routines, and dietary adjustments.

However, it’s important to note that Ayurveda is a complementary practice. Before incorporating Panchakarma or other Ayurvedic treatments, always consult with a qualified Ayurvedic doctor. Do not begin these treatments during an active IVF cycle unless advised by your own fertility doctor and fertility specialists.

Tune in to find out more about Ayurveda and how it can help you restore emotional balance, reconnect with your body, and enhance your IVF journey in a holistic and supportive way.

  • Ep. 21 - Sex and the cycle: The emotional toll on intimacy during infertility

In today’s episode of What the F – From Infertility Exhaustion to Peace, we’re talking about something that many couples face during IVF but often feel too embarrassed or awkward to discuss: the strain on intimacy. When IVF or infertility  takes over your life, sex can quickly go from an act of love and connection to something that feels more like a task or performance—all about timing, ovulation, and getting it right. But the pressure can create emotional distance, leaving you and your partner feeling disconnected.

Tina shares her personal experience of how IVF affected her relationship with her husband, Mayur, and how they found their way back to each other emotionally and physically. You’ll also hear real stories from clients who’ve faced the same challenges, and practical tips on how to rebuild intimacy during IVF, including the importance of reframing intimacy, visualisation, and self-compassion.

If you’ve been feeling like IVF has taken over your sex life and left you disconnected from your partner, this episode will give you the tools to start reconnecting, healing, and restoring the emotional and physical closeness that’s so important in your relationship.

  • Ep. 20 - The power of spirituality and energy healing during your fertility journey

In today’s episode of What the F – From Infertility Exhaustion to Peace, Tina explores the powerful role that spirituality and energy healing can play during your fertility journey. IVF can take a huge toll on your emotional, mental, and physical well-being, but incorporating spiritual practices can help restore balance, heal, and provide much-needed inner peace.

Tina talks about the science behind spirituality and energy healing, sharing insights from Dr. Lisa Miller and Dr. Harold Koenig, who have studied the profound effects these practices can have on mental health and emotional resilience. She also shares how practices like Reiki, sage cleansing, and mindful connection can help release toxic energy, reduce stress, and re-centre your focus during the IVF process.

If you're feeling drained, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself, this episode will show you how spirituality and energy work can help you reconnect with your true self, heal emotionally, and invite more peace into your fertility journey.

Dr. Lisa Miller - Spirituality and Mental Health
Dr. Lisa Miller is a clinical psychologist and professor at Columbia University. She’s known for her work on the relationship between spirituality and mental health. Her book, The Spiritual Child (2015), presents evidence showing that spirituality in childhood can help prevent mental health struggles such as depression and anxiety later in life. This is particularly important in managing stress and fostering resilience, both of which are key when dealing with the emotional ups and downs of fertility treatments. Study: Miller, L  (2015). Dr. Harold Koenig – Spirituality and Health
Dr. Harold Koenig is a professor of psychiatry at Duke University and a pioneer in the field of spirituality and health. His extensive research shows that spiritual well-being can have a positive impact on mental health by reducing anxiety, depression, and stress. His studies suggest that spirituality provides individuals with a sense of purpose, emotional resilience, and coping mechanisms during tough times.

  • Ep. 16 - Social media and IVF: The pressure to share and unrealistic expectations.

In this episode of What the F – From Infertility Exhaustion to Peace, Tina talks about the emotional impact that social media has on women going through IVF and fertility struggles. She discusses the pressure to share your fertility journey online and how it can sometimes create unrealistic expectations that add unnecessary stress. Tina opens up about the "fertility perfection" myth. The idea that everyone else’s IVF journey is smooth and easy, while yours may feel like a constant freakin' emotional rollercoaster.

Tina shares her own experience with feeling disconnected as she compared herself to others online, and how she overcame this by shifting her mindset. She also introduces NLP tools like reframing and breathwork to help listeners release the pressure of comparison and focus on their own unique journey of fertility and life in general.

This episode encourages women to step back from the social media highlight reel, reconnect with themselves, and reclaim their emotional well-being. It’s a reminder that you don’t have to perform for an audience and that your experience is valid, and self-compassion is key to navigating the highs and lows of IVF.
