The Mavs fall to 10-11 on the season after losing to the lowly Detroit Pistons. As our good buddy Dwight (@517to214) pointed out on Twitter, this marks the 3rd time this season we've lost to the team with the worst record in the league at the time of the game.
Shout out to Killian Hayes though.

November 30, 2022 Game Recap: Don't Call it a Comeback!
The Dallas Mavericks won!!!! The Mavericks beat the Golden State Warriors and move to 10-10 on the season. They own the tiebreaker with the Warriors now so, since both teams are .500, the Mavs move up to 9th in the West.
I only added that last line to keep us humble but it was a fun game and it was nice to end the losing streak. Luka shut up some national narratives and one of our brick layers decided not to be a brick layer tonight. Today was a good day.

November 28, 2022 Weekly Roundup: The Outsiders Name 10 Buy Low Targets That Should Be on the Mavs Radar
Aye man, ya'll heard the rants... The Dallas Mavericks fall to 9-10 on the season as Mavs media circles the wagons to protect Jason Kidd's atrocious lineup decisions. Reggie Bullock rested and Jason Kidd's answer was to start the other guy shooting 30% from the field in his place. Josh Green didn't play 20 minutes despite being effective when he was on the court and, though Christian Wood started the 3rd quarter, Jason Kidd was sure to say that didn't accomplish anything (it did).
The Mavs will likely continue to tumble as the schedule does not get any easier in the week to come so instead of spending the majority of this episode on that, we decided to look at some buy-low candidates for the Mavs to look to trade for.
The criteria:
Must be 28 or younger
Must be either out of the rotation or have reports of being on the trade block
Must be attainable based on our limited assets.
Of course, we ended with our weekly segments.

November 27, 2022 Game Recap: Haven't We Been Here Before?
The Dallas Mavericks lost to the Toronto Raptors with no Siakam or Scottie Barnes. We now fall to .500 (9-9) for absolutely no reason other than our coach and GM being incompetent. Mavs Media continues to ride.... to defend the team's moves despite the obvious flaws but the people are slowly catching on that things won't get better until changes are made.

November 21, 2022 Weekly Roundup: We Let Em Off the Hook!
Another week, another two losses to teams we shouldn't have lost to. The Dallas Mavericks fall to 9-7 after splitting with the ailing Denver Nuggets, losing to the Houston Rockets (without Luka), and beating the LA Clippers this week.
The team's flaws were on full display this week as we had games where Reggie Bullock and Tim Hardaway Jr. took several but could not make one shot, games where Christian Wood and Josh Green didn't play 20 minutes, and a game where it was clear that without Luka we are barely a basketball team.
It was a rough one but we live to play another week. After the Rockets game, we took a few days off to cool off but the disappointment is very real right now.

November 16, 2022 Game Recap: We Won or Whatever...
The Dallas Mavericks are 8-5 on the season after beating the Los Angeles Clippers tonight. That means that the team is 1 game back of first place in the West but it certainly doesn't feel like we've earned it.
The Mavericks got out to a 20+ point lead and held the Clippers to 32 points at the half... before completely blowing the lead and needing A 7 three-pointer performance from Dorian Finney-Smith, Bullock deciding to hit 4 threes late in the game, and a Luka circus shot dagger.

November 14, 2022 Weekly Roundup: The Opps Are Talking About Our Lack of Ball Handlers.
Four weeks are in the books. The Mavs sit at 7-5 after a 2-2 week with wins over the Nets and Blazers and losses to the Magic and Wizards. We played two games without Christian Wood and saw huge flaws in our roster construction and Spencer Dinwiddie was amazing all week.
Luka followed two bad games where he mentioned perhaps being tired with a 40-point triple-double. We saw his 30-point game streak end, and we saw Josh Green's plus/minus streak end.
This week also means we crossed Jason Kidd's 10-game threshold for knowing what his team is and we'll see if he makes any real adjustments going forward. Thus far, the only real adjustment was moving McGee out of the starting lineup. In fact, Mcgee did not play in the Blazers game at all.
In this episode, Bibs and Reese were joined by Shad Miller (@ShadMiller13) of The Uncool Urban who is currently covering the G-League and the Dallas Mavericks.

November 13, 2022 Game Recap: Wood Went Hard. (Too Hard I Guess, Priapism)
The Dallas Mavericks bounced back from two bad losses (while playing without Wood) with a win over the Blazers in Wood's return. The Mavericks now move to 7-5 on the season as they kicked off their 5-game home stand.
Jason Kidd promised to try some different things in this one and I believe he was on his way to a few things when foul trouble forced his hand. Powell and Bullock got into foul trouble in the first quarter which led to 16 first-half Josh Green minutes. Then Wood got into foul trouble late which (I believe) kept him from playing 30 minutes. We'll see.
Overall, it's always a good day when the Mavs win. Tap in with us.
