The concept of hell is one of the most controversial, challenging, and potentially misunderstood teachings of the Christian faith. In this series we will look at what the Bible actually says and attempt to make sense of it all. This week we look at the origins of the word "hell" in the English language and talk about the reality that Jesus did not use the word "hell" (because it did not exist) but instead used two different words - Gehenna and Hades. We explore the roots of the word Gehenna and its relationship to Jeremiah chapter 7.
