In this first part of the Epidote this week, Max and Jeff go over Team GB's prep games for the IIHF that will be played in Finland as well as looking at the Western Conference Playoffs as shockers, sweeps and WTH's! 

Its that Time of the Year we have been waiting for...well some of us that have teams to bring on the NHL's Playoff Season. Max and Jeff chat about the Playoffs, the games from the night before and the games that were getting ready to be played on Tues 3 May. For all those that do not have a team in this year, who's bus you jumping on for the ride? 

Nothing like hockey playoffs no matter where you are. In this episode Max catches us up on both the Elite league as well as the NIHL as the championship weekend took Place both on Nottingham UK and Coventry UK. Also Team GB Hockey had to make a couple roster changes and one well deserved player for Team GB gets the call back up!

Max and Jeff go over the NHL standings and the smell of the playoffs coming ll too soon for some teams while others are getting ready to hit the Golf Course in two weeks 

On the first episode of the two parter, Max dives in and goes over In a bit of a depth on the UK’s Elite league standings and playoffs as well as the NIHL playoff status as the system has changed from the Top four playing in Coventry to the top two teams after the eight top teams play in a round robin two group series. To finish off with a huge congrats to Team GB Women’s Ice Hockey team as they go undefeated and gold shining from their sweaters in Java, Spain at the IIHF championships.

This episode has Hockey round up in the UK, ECAC Final Four winners and who in the NCAA frozen four as they jump into the NHL Standing's and what's what and who's who to complete it with some of the trades that happened before and at the deadline. This week's episode Max and Jeff start off by catching up on the NIHL bits and the Elite bit as they then chat a little about current events and then jump right into the Great 8 chasing records, Players accomplishing amazing places in their careers and then roll into some funny stuff to end it with some great shout outs. As always the Nottingham Lions Commentary Crew and this week Jeff's shouts out to a few different places such as the Clarkson Golden Knights and there push towards the ECAC Championship this weekend in lake Placid, his hometown Massena Arena as they allowed the guest show to be recorded there, a big Shout out to the local Massena Police Activity League and where he works that gives local kids a safe place to go after school and also to the Adirondack 46's as Jeff was able to have a good chat with one of the team coaches and see the team win there 10U tournament this weekend! 

In this Special episode, Jeff and Max bring in one of the last remaining Live Sports Entertainment Organ Players in the sports world who is the Organist for the Charlotte Checkers in the AHL. Jeff on location at his local Hockey arena, Max in the UK and Greasy at home in Charlotte and enjoying some great conversation between the three! On this episode, Max and Jeff chat about The Nottingham Lions while adding in Women's History Month to include the congrats to some of the ladies on Team GB's Women National Team such as former guest Saffron Allen and Jodie Bloom as they prepare for worlds in Jaca, Spain. They also touch on some hard but needed conversation about the hockey world and there take on it. The Habs are climbing as Max an Jeff praise them and they close out with some funnies and local supports!

On this week's episode, Max and Jeff do discuss some of the events currently taking place as well as a little bit of the ugly side of hockey. Though they do turn it around and chat about Montreals winning hot streak, Van looking nasty their 90's throwbacks and also giving some shout outs to some great businesses!
