What the Reality

America’s Next Top Model premiered in May 2003 and was a reality show competition series based on finding America’s next top model, literally. The competition series would feature women from all over, from Kansas City to New York, and select 10-13 typical women, whipping them into modeling shape over the course of 12 weeks, with looming eliminations each episode. The show’s popularity really began to rise with higher stakes and more incentives by Cycle 3. It was a true pop culture phenomenon.

Recently, the ANTM controversy and Tyra Banks' behavior have been all over timelines, with a Netflix documentary highlighting the show's demise and Banks' cold tactics.

In part one, I am deep-diving into the original show and everything that came from it, from scandals to crazy photoshoots. In part two, I will dive into the three-part documentary series featured on Netflix.

Welcome to the pod and welcome to another episode of Toxic Tuesday! In this episode, there is a lot of reali(tea) to discuss. From Kandi Burruss kicking Todd to the curb (quite literally) to Jill Zarin being fired after her racist rant video, I mean, it was totally "uncool." In addition, Loverboy is allegedly in serious debt after Summer House revealed that Kyle had to put $500K into the brand and take himself off salary. After I briefly talk about Summer House, I get into the epic RHOP reunion, which was literally amazing. Also, if you aren't watching The Valley Persian Style, what are you doing? That's keeping me FED. I also talk about Married to Medicine.

Welcome to the pod and welcome to another episode of Toxic Tuesday. In this episode, I am discussing Bad Bunny's Super Bowl performance, which truly made a statement for America and was iconic. I also get into the whos that critiqued the performance from Jill Zarin to Chris Brown. Chris Brown, I know you are not talking. Jill Zarin's latest statement makes me wonder if OG RHONY will be making any comeback. In addition, it looks like Cardi B and Steffon Diggs broke up either during the SuperBowl or right before. For reality shows, I am dishing the Summer House premiere, The Traitors, and my latest obsession, Love Island All Stars.

Welcome to the pod and welcome to another episode of Toxic Tuesday. In this episode, the reali(tea) topics are nonstop from Don Lemon's unjust arrest, to The Grammys keeping ICE out, OG RHONY gracing our screens very soon, and Ray J apparently only having a year left to live -- I hope that isn't the truth. In other reali(tea) news, my recent obsession with "His and Hers" and "The Bear" has led to watching "Tell Me Lies." For recaps, I am diving into The Valley, Persian Style; the RHOSLC three-part reunion, and the epic Karen Huger sit-down with Andy Cohen, which was very telling.

Welcome to the pod and welcome to another episode of Toxic Tuesday.

In this episode, I am talking all the latest from the TikTok major tweaks over the weekend and still today, Kyle Richards calling Ashley Darby weird, Kanye West's latest apology in a paid ad with the Wall Street Journal, I didn't even know that was a thing, and so many more reali(tea) topics. I also get into this RHOP reunion looks. I honestly was not impressed besides MISS PAM OLIVER, and of course, a much-needed recap of RHOP.

Michael Rapaport was recently on the latest season of The Traitors, and if you aren’t a watcher of Housewives or a sitcom lover, then you probably have no clue who this man is. But his recent appearance on The Traitors proved to be everything plus treacherous. Apparently, Michael Rapaport has a very uncanny fanbase, and the people really cannot stand him. I’m doing a deep dive into why Michael Rapaport is so hated, covering everything from his past, including the Jane Magazine exposé on Natasha Lyonne, to his lawsuit against Barstool Sports' Dave Portnoy.

Welcome to the pod and welcome to another episode of Toxic Tuesday. I had to hop on the mic for a brief segment before regular programming to talk about the latest Bravo news: Summer House's Amanda and Kyle's separation. Perhaps, the biggest news, though, to come from the weekend is Nene Leakes returning home to Bravo after a whole lawsuit. I mean, this just tells me OG RHONY will be back... fingers crossed.

Then I discuss RHOP and the running water issue, and Married to Medicine is maintaining amazing vibes this season. It's been so good. Did ya'll catch WWHL though with Gizelle Bryant and Quad Webb? The girls were gagging each other, and by the girls, I mean Quad was gagging Gizelle.

Welcome to the pod, and welcome to another Toxic Tuesday episode. In this episode, I am discussing the latest breakup drama: Kristy Scott filing for divorce against Desmond Scott; and Love Island UK’s beloved most fly couple, Indiyah and Dami, breaking up after Indiyah allegedly cheated on Dami with a streamer named Marlon. What goes on in the Twitch universe?

I also talk about the Golden Globes, and yes, Olandria was there. In addition, I share my final thoughts on the RHOSLC season and finale, and on the premieres of The Traitors and The Valley.

Welcome to Part 2 of What’s the Reality on What the Reality: Jersey Shore. I know it’s been a while, but my schedule has been completely off since the holidays! In part one, I really deep-dive’d into the origins of Jersey Shore and where they found the original members of the all-star cast from New York to the Shore. I also talked about how Jersey Shore was supposed to be an all-male cast.

In part two, we are going to close out the deep dive on Jersey Shore with an examination of the friendships and “situationships,” which were famously coined by Mike “The Situation.” I am going to visit some of the most iconic moments in Jersey Shore history, and most importantly, life after Jersey Shore. Unlike other reality shows, the Jersey Shore cast has maintained significant relevance after the show through more reality TV spin-offs and guest appearances. However, one castmate's future changed significantly after his tax evasion scandal.

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the pod and welcome to another episode of Toxic Tuesday. In this episode, Ashley Tisdale is breaking up with her toxic mom's friend group, and I cannot believe Hilary Duff is in it?? Not my girl. I am also talking about Love Island stans taking it too far this time and ordering a hit on Nic for New Year's Eve... what is seriously going on with the world? In addition, a much-needed recap of the Mary Cosby docu-series (spoiler alert), and, to close out the episode, of course, we are talking RHOP and Married to Medicine.
