Imagine the show Friends comes back after twenty years. The cast poster shows—Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Ross, Chandler, NO JOEY and four new characters. “So no one told me life was gonna be this way …” We expect certain things from our favorite shows and when they break their structure, it’s jarring like seeing your therapist at the grocery store.
