Now, if there’s one thing we know about the Tech Industry, it’s that we love a buzzword or two. From ‘Cloud Computing’ to ‘Big Data’, if there’s a way of sexing up some new – or even some old – Technology with a bit of jargon, then boy will we run with it. Sorry – leverage it.
And there is one IT buzzphrase that appears to have reached new heights of hyperbole in recent times: although certainly not a new kid on the block, it is now impossible to escape all the talk around ‘Digital Transformation’.
So, in the final episode of the series, we go beyond the buzzphrase and ask “what the tech is Digital Transformation anyway?!” And, once you know what you’re attempting to do, how on earth do you do it well?
This episode we're joined by Mike Ehrenberg, Technical Fellow from Microsoft and CTO for the Dynamics 365 Family, and Andrea Bright, a Global Leader with many a successful Digital Transformation project under her belt, from QUANTIQ, an Avanade Company.

As we like to say here, this show explores how technology is changing the way we live and work. And while these changes can be profound for law-abiding citizens and business alike, it’s safe to say they are too for criminals; yes, the bad actors are still following the money, but they are now doing so digitally.
In this episode of What the Tech!? we take a peek into the murky world of cyber security in the Cloud, and who better to speak with than somebody whose job it is to break into big companies’ computers (ethically, of course) and to tidy up the mess when the crooks get there first.
Guests Paula Januszkiewicz (CQURE) and James Longworth (QUANTIQ), explore.

Data is the new currency, the new oil, the new nuclear power. There are lots of lofty claims about the power of Data and its potential to help the world make better decisions - and with good reason too. However, it is also said that Data can be, well, a bit dull and difficult. So, to find out where the truth really is, we located perhaps the most enthusiastic person about Data we could find - Microsoft's Patrick Leblanc.
We also speak with BI expert Stuart Lock who, with more than 20 years of stories under his belt of delivering Data and Analytics solutions across a broad range of industries, covers the advancements he’s seen in that time and his view on the benefits of tapping into your Data.

Hybrid work, flexible work, dynamic work, fluid work. It seems that every organisation is attempting right now to rebrand, rethink and redefine what work is and when or where it takes place. But can in-person interactions be supplemented with Digital?
In today’s future of work special, we hear how businesses are attempting to future-proof their workplace, what has - and hasn’t - worked so far, and why the future of collaboration software might be about to get meta.
Host David McClelland is joined by guests Graeme Watt, Softcat CEO; Stuart Fenton, QUANTIQ Founder; and Jared Spataro, Corporate VP of Microsoft 365.

Host David McClelland is joined by guests Erik Arnold, Chief Technology Officer, Tech for Social Impact at Microsoft, and Cathy Amor, Senior Dynamics 365 Consultant at QUANTIQ.

As much-loved retail brands and established chains disappear from city centres and shopping malls, we ask whether the ‘death of the high street’ is real or over-stated, and how technology is already beginning to shape the next wave of retail experiences. For todays retailers we explore some of the ways in-person shopping experiences can blend with radically digital ones, to create meaningful, long-lasting relationships with customers.
Host David McClelland is joined by guests Kate Hardcastle MBE, Broadcaster & Retail Expert; Francois van Splunder, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Microsoft; and Dan Burdge, Retail Technology Consulting Manager.
