Welcome to the San Diego County Fair's Insider Guide to what to expect on Wednesday, June 25th, at the San Diego County Fair.
The Fair opens its gates at 11 AM and will be buzzing with activity until 11 PM. Entrance gates close at 10 p.m.
Throughout the day, animal lovers will have plenty to enjoy. The "Summer Pet-tacular" exhibit continues to be a must-see, offering interactive experiences like a giant ball of yarn and a pet-pairing quiz. The San Diego Humane Society will also be on hand with animals available for adoption. Make sure to catch the Stunt Dog Show at 1 PM, 3 PM, and 5 PM in Family Funville for some amazing tricks and agility displays. And of course, the ever-popular Swifty Swine Racing Pigs will be racing multiple times today, including at Noon, 1 PM, 2:30 PM, 4:30 PM, 6 PM, and 7:30 PM in the Durante Area. You can also see the amazing Wilder Show at 1 PM and 3 PM on the Avenue of the Palms, and at 5 PM on Livestock Way.
Beyond the main attractions, explore all the daily Fair offerings. The carnival rides and games in the Fun Zone are open all day, and ride-lovers can purchase a Pepsi Pay-One-Price wristband for unlimited rides between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.
You can also wander through the various free exhibits, including the Farm2U exhibit, the vibrant Garden Show, the Gems & Minerals show, and the traditional livestock barns. Indulge in the incredible variety of food from over one hundred vendors, and seek out the innovative dishes that were finalists in the Fair-Tastic Food Competition. And be sure to take advantage of our dozens of $15 value meal deals.
Tonight, the Grandstand stage features Quinn XCII and Chelsea Cutler, performing together at 7:15 PM. This dual headliner show is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. And remember, your concert ticket also includes complimentary same-day Fair admission, so you can enjoy all the Fair has to offer before the music starts.
For more live music, head over to the Chevrolet Paddock Stage at 9:00 PM for The Long Run, an Eagles tribute band. If you're a fan of Fleetwood Mac, don't miss Fleetwood MAX performing on the Michelob ULTRA Avenue Stage from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM. And earlier in the day on the Michelob ULTRA Avenue Stage, catch The Lunar Conspiracy from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
