Welcome to your San Diego County Fair Insider Guide for what to expect on Saturday, July 5, 2025. Here's a look at today's exciting schedule:
When we open at 11 AM, a variety of activities begin. Enjoy Bluegrass Music Day at the Fair, try your hand at Dig for Treasure, or listen to the Euphoria Brass Band. Discover the Excellent Gem Experts and Fascinating Faceting demonstrations. Visit the Great American Petting Farm, experience the K-Pop Festival, or explore Plumeria Day. Don't miss the Small Animal Master Showmanship and Sphere-making Demonstration.
Later in the morning, at 11:45 AM, take a Gems & Minerals Docent Tour.
At noon, even more events kick off. See the Beef Cattle Show, observe Chair Caning and Lacemaking Demonstrations, or watch the Community Quilt come to life. There's also a Culinary Demonstration, Gascar, Intro to Coin Collecting, a Ladybug Release, and "Let's Plant Smarter Gardens Together." You can also participate in an Origami Make & Take, enjoy SM ROX, see a Spinning Demonstration, or cheer on the Swifty Swine Racing Pigs. The Student Showcase Fashion Show, Weaving & Spinning Demonstration and Make and Take, Winery of the Day, and Your Produce Man are also available.
Just after noon, at 12:30 PM, you can enjoy the Kids Roping Activity and a performance by Violin on Fire.
At 1:00 PM, delve into Art Demonstrations, join the Corn Shucking Contest, or take a Design in Wood Docent Tour. Catch Irresponsibly Drawn, enjoy Milk Tasting, or see the Pet-tacular Parrot Show. There will also be Presentations by The San Diego Photoshop Users Group, another Student Showcase Fashion Show, the Swifty Swine Racing Pigs, The Perondis' All-Star Stunt Dog Show, The Wilder Show, and Wine Tasting.
At 1:30 PM, experience Fun With Floral and The Flying Royals.
Moving into the afternoon at 2:00 PM, you can find Farmyard Follies, a Fine Art Docent Tour, "Let's Plant Smarter Gardens Together," and Monster Trucks. Learn from the San Diego Pollinator Alliance and enjoy The Vaquitos.
At 2:30 PM, there's another Culinary Demonstration, a session on Ending Naughty Dog Behaviors, Fiesta Folklorico, and more Swifty Swine Racing Pigs.
At 3:00 PM, learn about Butter Making, witness another Ladybug Release, enjoy Milk Tasting, or join the Seed Spitting Contest. The Perondis' All-Star Stunt Dog Show, The Wilder Show, and Violin on Fire will also be performing.
At 4:00 PM, discover A History of Local Flower Growing, experience GASCAR, see Irresponsibly Drawn, or catch the Pet-tacular Parrot Show. You can also get Tips from Photographers and enjoy more Wine Tasting.
At 4:30 PM, don't miss the Swifty Swine Racing Pigs and Training a Fear-Free Dog.
At 4:45 PM, enjoy Forced Hammer.
At 5:00 PM, more Milk Tasting is available, along with Monster Trucks, The Flying Royals, and The Wilder Show.
As evening approaches at 5:30 PM, attend a Culinary Demonstration, join Dan Moon for Line Dancing, or enjoy Farmyard Follies. See Grupo Folklorico Herencia Mexicana, The Perondis' All-Star Stunt Dog Show, and Tom Griesgraber.
At 6:00 PM, you can see the Swifty Swine Racing Pigs and Violin on Fire.
At 6:30 PM, there's a Goat Milking Demonstration and a Violin Making Demonstration.
At 6:45 PM, enjoy Thriller San Diego, a dance event in Family Funville.
At 7:00 PM, catch Jeff Martin and the Pet-tacular Parrot Show.
At 7:15 PM, listen to the Roni Lee Group.
At 7:30 PM, Ziggy Marley performs on the Corona Grandstand Stage. This show requires a separate ticket.
At 8:00 PM, enjoy Monster Trucks and The Flying Royals.
At 8:15 PM, listen to Ainjo & We Are Here Now.
At 8:30 PM, Stone Horse will be performing.
At 9:00 PM, catch the Long Beach Dub Allstars on the Chevrolet Paddock stage. This show is included with your admission, and no extra ticket is required.
Finally, at 10:00 PM, enjoy performances by Dellinger Entertainment and Jag J and Friends.
