How does it feel to accomplish something you always hoped (and regularly prayed) you could achieve—yet deep down feared was impossible for you?
As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse who grew up in extremes of financial instability, the goal of achieving healthy, present, trusting, and abundant relationships to money, sex, and power has felt like the Everest of my life: the mountain peak that I have most wanted to reach, yet feared I never would.
In this intimate “ground zero” episode of a whole new podcast, I explore what it feels like to have returned to entrepreneurship after a two year healing sabbatical with the launch of my new business, WHOLE HOUSE, and how it feels to have so quickly (yet calmly) summited this Mountain in the process—experiencing previously inconceivable levels of financial abundance unattached to intense stress or hard hard work, and the felt safety to lovingly and lusciously renegotiate my relationships to sex and sensuality and my personal power as a result. YUM.
It’s a whole new world from here, and this episode is my love letter to the moment; my spoken intention to birth MYSTIC MONSTRESS MADWOMAN MUSE fully into being in 2025; and my vow to you that whatever impossible-seeming mountain you may have spent a lifetime yearning for and walking towards IS summitable, and when you get there, nothing will ever look, or be, the same again.
So light a candle, pour a glass, and join me for episode zero of MYSTIC MONSTRESS MADWOMAN MUSE, as we ring out the old year and expand our horizons toward the next!

Your capacity to take on the news right now is valid. Your mental, physical, and emotional boundaries are your own—no one else's are the same. Yet we tend to feel shame and guilt when it comes to how much we feel we are able to engage (or not) with the general sense of suffering out there in the world.
So how do we identify what OUR personal boundaries are for engaging with current global crises? And how do we locate, let alone honour, those boundaries when we've blown right the f*ck past them?
Today's episode goes into just this question.
We'll honour the importance of bearing witness to others' suffering and global crises while honouring YOUR limits so you're not just (re)traumatizing yourself in the name of being a "good global citizen."
We'll discuss how to locate YOUR mental, emotional, and physical boundaries—that is, how to FEEL them when they announce themselves, and what to do so you can honour them.
We'll cover how to "reset" when you've gone WAY beyond your boundaries and are living in a near-constant state of nervous system dysregulation/fight-flight response/survival mode (all terms for the same state).
We discuss why it's CRUCIAL to honour your boundaries even in the face of self-recrimination and self-judgement, and what to do with those sneaky feelings of guilt and shame that can arise when we choose to take care of ourselves though others are suffering.
And so much more.

"All of Western medicine is built on getting rid of pain, which is not the same as healing. Healing is actually the capacity to hold pain." —Dr. Gabor Maté
In the wake of this week's Israel—Hamas conflict, I did my best to share some thoughts on the discomfort–pain–suffering continuum, which I believe is crucial to understanding our collective aversion to holding pain—the very capacity Dr. Maté identifies as crucial to healing our individual and collective wounds.

Why is it that on the other side of a Big Life Event, good or bad, chosen or accidental, we most often feel completely lost—and irrevocably different?
Today’s episode investigates western overculture’s obsession with a certain kind of life trajectory, and how this idea of our life’s “shape” is not only inherently false, but deeply damaging to the psyche. In contrast, ancient and Indigenous cultures that embrace significant milestones and experiences in life as rites of passage experience a great deal less existential angst and mental suffering.
In episode 7 we get into the three stages of a rite of passage, and explore how we can navigate the discomfort and pain that often accompanies these transitional, transformational phases in life, in which we often feel as though we have lost ourselves and all ability to feel clear and/or confident of what we’re doing in life, in a way that lessens our suffering—and actually increases the potential of what we can achieve on the other side of the experience.

Welcome to somatic self-coaching live!
In today’s episode the word TRUST sends me on my own somatic journey through the Mind-Body Cycle of Change (the process that is at the core of my coaching and my client sessions as a somatic practitioner) and into new embodied insights and self-awareness.
By meditating on the concept of TRUST, I find my body speaking to me in an unusual and undeniable way—and so the investigation begins! Join me as I undergo this incredible and transformative process (in 10 minutes) and share from there some of the invaluable lessons I’ve learned about trust and, most important of all, TRUST IN ONE’S SELF.

You know those times in life when things are moving along with relative ease and then—BAM—something happens that shakes the very foundations of your sense of safety?
In seconds the status quo is shredded. It feels like your world is falling apart. That an irrevocable rift has just torn through your life and now nothing will ever be the same again. You want to cry. Scream. Beg. Plead. Jeeze, you’ll even pray. Your heart is pounding in your ears, your stomach is in knots, and your inner children are wailing at full volume, desperately wanting to be saved. It’s so f*cking scary and uncomfortable that you’d crawl out of your own damn skin if it meant you could avoid the repercussions that this event seems to present to you and your life.
One thing’s for sure: This is one of the Worst Days of Your Life. And from here, the end seems nowhere in sight.
Well, that was me last week. In the maelstrom of one of those Top 5 Sh*ttiest Times that’s both totally unprecedented and also guttingly similar to the other sh*ttiest times when you’ve felt this way.
In this episode, I chart the experience from a somatic perspective—and share what it looks like to revisit what has always previously been a traumatizing experience . . . make some different choices . . . and in the space of just a few long days . . . become a totally different person.

This week we're going DEEP: Into history, into feeling, into emotion—to understand how we humans have diverged from the natural flow of life to find ourselves stuck, numb, dissociated, and disconnected from ourselves, each other, and our planet, and how and WHY it's not only possible but so important to return to our rightful state of being: that is, as life moving towards life.
This one gets emotional, y'all.
A loving content warning: This episode references ~ and this podcast host embodies and expresses ~ climate grief.

I'M IN THIS WITH YOU. LOVE YOU.
In this week’s episode we go deep into the theory and some of the methodologies of somatic coaching, also described as “body-oriented psychotherapy”.
This one goes out to all the reforming good girls; the eternal grade-A students; the earnest teachers' pets and best-behaved daughters; the (too-)carefully considerate; the fierce-yet-frustrated dreamers—to anyone who has a dream but struggles to take consistent steps towards it.
In this episode we get into just a few of the cultural and somatic reasons why so many women and femmes find themselves paralyzed when it comes to pursuing their dreams—and why it's SO important to overcome the many barriers you face and do it anyway—not just for you, but for all of us.
