What We Talkin’ Bout This Time?! - A Nerdy Movie Podcast

Y'all... It's our last episode of the year... so we talked for a while. We were gonna cover every single movie and tv show released in the entire year - lol - but we focused on just a few categories: Best animation, Scifi, Comedy, Guilty Pleasures, Greatest Disappointment, Hidden Gems, top 3 best overall, & top 3 worst overall.

We talmbout our favorite Christmas movies, classics, and TV show specials.  Featuring our resident 90s sitcom expert - Brick Jackson.

Merry Christmas... ya filthy animals!

Folks saying that new live action Star Wars tv show on Disney plus is pretty good... Jason & Josh binged it. It's gritty. There is a heist! And a prison break! Listen to us spoil it.

We binged it in like a few days. Some people have already watched this series twice! Netflix's Wednesday is murder mystery in which you get to follow Wednesday - the teenager daughter of the Addams' family - as she attends Nevermore Academy - a school for the outcasts of outcast. Its giving... Harry Potter... meets Law & Order... while paying amazing homage to the 50 plus years of the legacy of the iconic Addams' Family TV and movies. We spoil everything. We share our pros and cons and our theories. Who was your favorite character?

Donald (@vinylwhiskey) returns to discuss Mighty Morphing Power Rangers after Jason (@smileyjason_) vents for a few minutes about Coach Prime leaving JSU... Josh (@propjosh) went to the LA Comic Con and met a few of his heroes. He geeks out. We all wanted to honor Jason David Frank - the Green Ranger - since we each met him at a comic con over the years.

On the year anniversary of our podcast - we (Josh, Marques, & Jason) are finally all back in the room together (kinda) and review some unique horror movies. What happens when an American tourist gets bit by a British werewolf in the 80s?! Werewolf Nazis, ghost zombies, and a nurse who is curiously sensual since she has "never been with a..." werewolf (intimately)... Just when you thought that was creepy, we jump into Midsommar - a movie about a strange cult in Sweden where baking a pubic hair meat pie is considered flirting. Listen. Laugh. Enjoy even if you never plan on watching these movies. But you may change your mind after listening.

We went live to talk about Black Panther 2 - Wakanda Forever. Featuring our returning guest - Brick!

Will this be the last Halloween movie? Hopefully. But probably not. Josh and Jason share how much they were annoyed watching this movie. And they had to geek out about the latest DC movie to hit the big screen featuring The Rock as an Anti-Hero! Did Black Adam live up to the hype?! Or was this movie even about Black Adam?

The prequel to Game of Thrones is basically the Real Dragon Wives of Targaryen.

Kings, queens, princesses, dragons, and a little bit of incest. Okay,  maybe a lot more of that. Jason knows nothing about this show so Josh  brings on a few guests - Brandon, his cousin Jahfari, and Josh & Jason's nephew Malique - to have a full discussion of the hit HBO series  House of the Dragon.

If you never seen Game of Thrones or House of the Dragon you may be confused. But listen to the full spoiler review about this series to see if you want to check it out.
