As you’ve heard me say before air crashes are extremely uncommon but obviously air safety is not 100%. China Eastern Airlines flight 5735 was a recent crash that happened in China. It was very unusual because the plane was new and the crew seemed to have been in good health. It is still unknown the cause of this crash. I’m back! It’s been a while since I’ve put out a podcast, about three or four weeks, but I’m glad I was able to put a Podcasts out this week. Value jet flight 592 was a flight that ended in tragedy and unfortunately there was nothing the pilots could do about it. The combination of an old plane,and lax safety ended in tragedy for so many people. Aircraft are pretty sturdy machines. But like with most things, when they get older they’re not as sturdy, especially when they are light aircraft. And when it comes to flying older aircraft and the variables that can come with it take to fully licensed an experienced pilot. None of the last things mentioned happened on the English Channel plane crash in early 2019. What pilots are training for a new aircraft, they always have to go in the simulator first. But a simulator is just that. It only stimulates what real life is like.
