Optimism for gospel impact burgeoned in1991 when the Russian government invited the Christian Bridge mission to explore bringing Christian faith and morality to Russia. Author Philip Yancey was in that delegation that traveled to Russia with Mission Eurasia founders Peter and Anita Deyneka to respond to this remarkable open-door window.
