In this episode of What We're Not Taking to Our Graves, we’re diving into the orgasm gap. Why it exists, who it affects most, and what it reveals about how we’ve been taught to think about sex and pleasure. We’re also breaking down the power of masturbation: not just as a source of release, but as a way to understand your body, build confidence, and close the pleasure gap in your partnered sex life. We’re unpacking why solo sex is anything but selfish and how getting to know your own pleasure is one of the most empowering things you can do.

(yes, we are well aware of how incredibly cheesy this is- yes, we still did it)
2024 was one of those crash course years for growth for both of us. One of those years where you find yourself sitting in the bathtub thinking holy shit, when is it going to stop being hard? And then the next morning something else absolutely awful happens. But 2024 was also filled with so much love, joy, and unfortunately character development. We were faced with parts of ourselves that we didn't realized needed changed, and other facets of our personalities and outlooks on life altered along the way. So here we are to remind you to find the silver lining even when that seems near impossible, and to remember that the worst case scenario probably isn't going to happen to you- because at the end of the day you really aren't that special.

This week, we’re talking about the challenges and growth that come with blending families and making mindset shifts in day-to-day life. From figuring out how to navigate new family dynamics to letting go of the pressure to have it all together, we’re embracing whatever life throws our way—and encouraging you to do the same.
As the new year approaches, we reflect on what we’re leaving behind and what we want to focus on moving forward. And through it all, we remind ourselves that it’s really not that deep—sometimes, it’s about embracing the uncertainty, letting go of the need for control, and taking things one moment at a time.

In this episode of What We’re Not Taking To Our Graves, we’re unpacking the mental load of motherhood—and other things, probably. Being a mom is one of the most rewarding experiences, but the unspoken balancing act of emotional labor can feel overwhelming. From the mental weight we often don’t even realize we’re carrying, to the guilt, pressure, and unspoken expectations that come with it, we cover it all.
Join us as we share our experiences with the mental load of motherhood, co-parenting after divorce, and what it’s like to navigate sharing the parenting load with partners who aren’t biological parents—plus everything in between.

On this week's episode, we sit down and read through a listener's email together for the first time! We open up the conversation surrounding discussing desires with our partners, scorekeeping in relationships and navigating the balance between the give and take, our experiences when wants in the bedrooms didn't align- and a special cameo from Hank and Bryson answering a question we couldn't agree on (spoiler- Rowan was right).
