Our trip comes to an end this week with Xanadu, a film surpassed and outlived by it's soundtrack thanks to Olivia Newton-John. Xanadu - a musical, a remake (of sorts) and Gene Kelly's final film.

Somewhere in between Cover Girl and Xanadu is Down to Earth. Rita Hayworth is cast as the muse Terpsichore and is forces to struggle through the advances of Danny Miller in this less than amazing musical.

Famous for it's career starting place in film history and Oscar winning music, Cover Girl begins a journey following Rita Hayworth, Gene Kelly and ELO through three films that was born out a curious desire to watch Xanadu.
