Sometimes it feels like darkness is winning in our lives, and we can easily get discouraged when that happens. This text can help shine some light into that darkness, because it teaches that Jesus is coming back to end all the darkness in our lives. The darkness we experience in our lives and world is real, the battles we fight in our lives and world are real, but Revelation 20 assures us that darkness won’t last forever for those who put their faith in Christ. So when life gets tough and you’re getting discouraged because it feels like darkness is winning, cling to Christ and remember better days are coming.
