Shannon was born in New Orleans and raised in Chalmette, LA. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University School of Nursing in 1992 and her Master of Science in Nursing from University of South Alabama in 2018. Her nursing focus has been women’s health. In 2010 she completed her training as a Creighton Model FertilityCare Practitioner. She is currently employed as a nurse practitioner and FertilityCare Practitioner at the Woman’s New Life Clinic. She is married and has 2 sons.
