This is the most important conversation I have recorded in the 12 years of working with non verbal and autistic children. It's not clickbait. This has impacted my work enormously in the last 2 years.
If you have a child whose speech regressed I implore you to listen to this. It is going to change some children’s lives.
Maybe yours?
If this happens to your child , please do circle back to let me know - partly because this conversation is unedited and completely raw, I am nervous to publish it, and I want to know if my time spent on these things is having any impact at all? The reason I stopped recording the chats with my mothers is because editing and publishing took so long I could not find the extra time to do this. So please make allowances because this is real, messy, live, and uncut.
There are three mothers in my community that I have been especially yearning to record a conversation with. They are all clients of mine, and every time we speak - I hear so many valuable stories which I know can impact more families.
This is one of those mothers.
We both happen to be ex-teachers, therefore, we see children in an extra dimension when observing them - we see them as patients with symptoms to heal but also as pupils, and we have a lot to discuss and problem solve together.
This is a live discussion about how I have been observing a little girl who would lie on her bed and blow the hairdryer on herself for sensory comfort each homeopathic appointment. Since her mother started focussing hard on pointing, using a yes/no board and then spelling using a specific method - she is now talking to me during our consultations in detail. She tells me where her pain is and how she feels about school.
Her mothers sends me videos of her doing maths questions, yet her school teachers think she in incapable of any of these things and treat her as an incapable infant. Jenny is one of the few children who have turned my working life upside down. She has taught me that language is in inside ( most, or nearly all? How will we know? I will say nearly all for now) non-verbal children who have regressed.
The problem is not language. The problem is the mechanism of speech. They are hearing and understanding everything that is said.
Jenny has told me herself via spelling that she feels a “disconnection” between the brain and body. When she tried to talk, she feels “apraxia“ and “scrambled” and “stuck”.
I asked her what does she want us all to know?
“Believe”.
Barely anyone I work with is using Audrey’s methods. WHY? I don’t understand why??? It’s not discussed in schools, in fact it has been discouraged in some cases to my astonishment. I can’t fathom it. It’s accessible, its cheap and it just takes time and dedication and its going to be all on the parent to unlock this form of communication.
I have only seen positivity, improvement in frustration, behaviour and connection.
You are all capable. They are all capable given time and patience.
Feel free to get in touch via my website if this affects you in a positive way

I got teary eyed again listening to this emotional recount of Oakley's early days, and also so uplifted at hearing his amazing story of how he is slowly recovering against all the odds handed to him at 2 days old. Her energy is infectious and I am deeply humbled listening to their life story.
Daryl is a powerhouse of a mother, forging his path with him. You can find her on Instagram at @acornupdates
Oakley was born with an imperfect brain, and was on a NG tube, intubated and was having seizures. He isn't fully mobile, is registered blind and non-verbal.
This is their wonderful story worth listening to. You don't have to have everything in common in order to gain so much from their experience.

Disclaimer: during this recording, the internet cut out so I had to edit this conversation. The thing is, I was a bit overzealous with the editing, a bit like when you cut your own fringe for the first time and cut too much off, and now you can't go back. So I sound like I'm in a hurry at the start, but I promise I calm down.
I have worked with Arjola and Steven for several years and seen tremendous progress. Working with a child for so long has helped me see what can really be achieved, how long it tales, and what it takes, so I can pass that information onto mothers, without relying on theories.
They are both bilingual, living in the USA. He had severe eating issues, he could not chew and held food in his cheeks. When I observe him in calls now, he looks neurotypical, plays appropriately for his age and answers my questions by typing on a tablet.
We both never knew this was going to happen at the start, and persevered.
This is Arjola's story:

Josh came to my homeopathic team at 6 years old, because he regressed and lost his speech at 18 months old. He had a whole list of issues to be healed. This is his story, as a child who has made tremendous gains, some came fast and some came slow and steady.
At the centre of his recovery is his mother, with her calm and determined demeanour, who has a lot of advice and experience to share with you.

This is Michelle Vahey's story of how she recovered her daughter Koa who was given an autism diagnosis at 23 months and is now recovered at 8 years old.
Michelle explains what was important in their journey - and that "it isn't just that one thing". She tells us what was key for them, and what might help you on your healing journey.

Today I am answering 2 questions I get asked a lot and they are
"Can I do this other therapy with your homeopathy?"
"Can I take this supplement/spray/add-on with your homeopathy?"
Finally I get the chance to answer these questions fully so you can make that decision.
The information I give is solely based upon my own experience treating around 2000 patients with homeopathy.
This is an episode from my old podcast series. It still gets listened to so I have added it to this series.
