The church of today is not great at giving. Statistics show that, on average, Christians are giving 2.5% per capita. That's worse than the giving rate during the Great Depression. This is not about guilt. This is taking a moment to imagine what would happen if Christians took God at His word, tested Him in this area, and watched as he opened the floodgates of heaven and poured out his blessing (Malachi 3:10). Imagine the impact we could have on just the physical needs of the local community not to mention the global community.
