First off, it felt good to have a safe and open conversation with people again! The first few months of 2020 were tough for many of us for a multitude of reasons. One being the sudden uproar surrounding cases of injustice and racism. Our social media was packed with the names Ahmaud Arbrey, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor... to name a few. We took time off our platform for a couple of months and in time decided to bring people together in the hopes of processing the events that took place and reflect on the reactions around us. The Black Lives Matter series is a 3 parter covering how we and our guests felt, what went wrong and what should be done.
