Laws addressing wage transparency are rapidly increasing and are one of the biggest trends to watch in 2023. They are being driven by an effort to help ensure pay equity. Some of these laws attempt to do so by prohibiting employers from banning discussions about pay or prohibiting employers from asking about an applicant’s pay history. Others go a step further by requiring employers to provide pay range information to applicants and employees. In this episode, we discuss what employers need to know about these laws.
