Welcome everyone to this week's men's mental health subject about letting go of your past. Too often we let our past experiences form bad habits. We allow those habits to go unchecked, or we willfully ignore the negative impacts they have on the decisions we make in the present. We allow the past to define us and shape our personal realities...I'm here today to tell you that that doesn't have to be the case. Join me men, as I discuss this subject and a few ways we can confront our past; in order to shape a better present/future.

Fellas have you ever found yourself in situations that you handled, and after taking a bit of time thinking about it after-the-fact, came to the realization that you could have handled it a lot better? You could have been a bit more PROACTIVE in order to facilitate a more favorable outcome? Well, that's exactly what I am talking about in today's video. Being proactive rather than reactive. This is extremely important in your ability to communicate effectively, especially with the people that are most important in your life. Join me as I explore this subject a bit today π

Disclaimer: I AM NOT a licensed therapist or psychiatrist, I am just here to talk about my personal journey and the tools I have used to get myself to a better place, mentally, emotionally, and physically. I know how hard it is for us men to ask for help, and even harder to recognize when we need it. If I help even one person on this portion of the channel, then I've done what I set out to do with this series of videos regarding men's mental well-being. Thank you so much for watching and I hope you take something away today!

Today's video is part of my weekly men's mental health check-in series. Forgiveness is a hard concept to comprehend for someone that has done wrong to you, but it can be even harder when you can't forgive yourself. Fellas, this video is about being nicer and more understanding of yourself and other. Learning to forgive isn't always easy, but once you do, you can propel your personal growth to new heights. Join me this week as I talk about steps you can take as well as share some personal situations regarding this subject!

Today's subject is a sensitive one and one that is often overlooked by men in regards to their mental evolution from young man to adulthood. Pride and ego often get in the way of us becoming the best version of ourselves we can be. I'm here to tell you there's a way to overcome it. I'll explain some of the effects childhood trauma/negative experiences can have on the development of a young boy growing up. I will also explain some of the ways you can start to heal and move forward. Welcome and I hope this video helps you out in some way π

This week's men's mental health check-in topic is the victimhood mentality. Every man that has been stuck in a chronically depressed state has blamed misfortune on external influences at some point; almost exclusively, but has failed to take responsibility for REMAINING in that mentally incapacitating state. Join me in this week's episode as I dig a bit deeper into this subject matter π

Hey fellas, ever thought about asking for help with something, but thought "better" of it? Well that pride that you feel because you didn't ask, can really hinder real progress toward admitting you might need help in the future. We ALL need help at some point (and I'm not just talking about stuff regarding physical labor requiring more than one person). We men are not equipped (usually) to deal with some of the mental and emotional maelstroms that take place in our minds. Today's video is one talking about how pride and ego can affect your better judgement, and hinder your progress in getting to a better version of yourself. I hope you can glean some helpful information from this video and my personal experiences with this particular subject matter!

My weekly men's mental health check-in gets deeper into men holding ourselves accountable. Despite how intimidating that may sound, (especially if you are a man with low self-esteem) I can guarantee you that you're not alone and that it is not impossible to get yourself out of it. As always, I have some great information regarding this subject if this resonates with you. I am looking forward to any feedback that you may have for me at the end of the video. This series of videos is a subject that is extremely close to my heart. If this helps even one man start their self-help journey, then I will be glad that I helped in some way.
