She talks about how she learned to change her toxic behavior in relationships once she realized where she learned it from and recognized the patterns she was repeating.
She’s learned how to stop the cycle by reading self-help books, books about psychology, going to therapy and staying on top of her mental health.
While she’s not proud of who she was, she’s proud of who she’s become. So as a reminder, don’t allow your past to define you. Who you once were can be a part of your story, but it doesn't have to be the entire plot (if you don't want it to be).
