What's a Grip?

Welcome to the first episode of "What's A Grip? The Below The Line Podcast!" To kick things off, we spoke with Cara Chute Rosenbaum, a Casting Director who's been responsible for casting shows such as "The Mindy Project" and "American Crime Story: The People vs OJ." Cara gets into the nitty gritty of building a career in casting. This is an illuminating interview that provides insight for those interested in casting itself, and actors who want a window into the people on the other side of the table.

Just a little intro to what we're trying to accomplish here -- meet us (Annie & Jillian), and get to know "What's a Grip?". If you're a filmmaker looking to understand your crew a little better, an aspiring crewmember yourself, or just a film fan interested in learning more about the industry, you've come to the right place!
