Have you ever been cornered into a conversation you don't want to have?
Maybe it isn't that you don't care about your friend's job, but it's just you really don't want to spend the next half hour listening to them complain about their boss. Or maybe you're concerned about your friend's health, but when they start getting into the specifics of their digestive system and how "regular" they're going to the bathroom, you're going to check out of the conversation.
This weekend at CrossWalk Church, we're continuing our message series entitled, "Resurrection Power." And we will be talking about a subject many people want to avoid, death.
Many people don't even want to think about death because the wounds of losing a friend or family member are too fresh. The good news is that the resurrection of Jesus Christ makes death a much easier subject to address.
Because he rose from death, he assures us that we will as well. His victory means our victory. His victory means certainty for us even as we face our own death.
This message is not really about death, it is about life. Come and hear how Jesus has given you a life that death will never end.
