He first spoke to a gentleman who explained that one of his workers is appearing in court on a theft charge. He was caught on camera trying to flog off some products at another franchise. What's shocking is that it was an employee that he would never expect.

Rameez then met with a young lady in court because her elderly next-door neighbour accused her of trespassing. She explains that they live in a sectional title and she often sits outside on the stairs with her friends however the old lady has laid a case claiming it is her property.

In the latest episode, Rameez speaks to a woman in court to obtain a letter of authority following her mother's death. Her mother failed to list any beneficiaries on her life policy.

Rameez also meets with a young lady appearing in court for drug possession. She claims that the drugs were not hers, she covered up for a friend to save him from going to prison. This is not her first offence, last year she was in jail for armed robbery and attempted murder.

He spoke with a woman in the midst of a divorce from her abusive husband. They've been together for 4 years, 2 of them married. She felt that if she stayed with him and loved him enough, he would change. After realizing that would not be the case, she has filed for divorce and aims to provide a better environment for her two young children. 

Rameez also met with a man in court for malicious damage of property. Intent on heading to work after a night out, the man drunkenly and accidentally broke down the door to the wrong factory thinking it was his workplace. After realizing his mistake, he called the owner to apologize. His confession was not well-received and the factory owner was adamant on getting the court involved.

In this episode, he spoke to a man accused of physical assault. His case was thrown out and he has no idea why. 

Rameez also met with a girlfriend supporting her man who is in court for a house-breaking case. The case has been postponed to 2020, and her boyfriend remains in prison due to other existing charges. Still, she is loyal.

Rameez speaks to a man whose friend is appearing in court for possession of a dangerous weapon - he thinks it's a gun. His friend was arrested along with another man. The man was released, his friend not. They are in court for a bail application.

He also chats to a woman whose sister appeared at juvenile court to sort out visiting rights between herself and her deceased ex-partners parents - the child's grandparents.

There he met with a foster mother whose adoption case has been languishing for 6 years. She explained that the adoption process can take up to 18 years, and biological parents are free to change their minds at any time. It's hard on foster parents but the upside is that the kids are safe and not in the system. 

He also met with another woman who had been scammed when she bought a house for R18,000, 11 years prior. She did not sign any paperwork and the house was never transferred to her name. She's in the midst of sorting out the matter in civil court.

In the latest episode of "What's happening in the Courthouse?", Rameez speaks with a woman whose brother has been convicted with attempted theft of a motorbike. His concerned sister explains that her brother had no intention of stealing the bike, he was merely caught sitting on it. She also feels that the court is not always right, conviction sometimes depends on how strong a case is. 

The second person Rameez speaks to is in court for alleged negligent driving charges. He shares that while he was in the car, he was not the one driving. He was intoxicated and cannot remember who was behind the wheel.

There he met with a guy who is at court because his house was broken into. The perpetrator was found two houses away with his loot of copper piping and two laptops which he had stolen from neighbouring houses. It's the second time that the victim has been in court due to delays. The offender is currently in holding for another theft case. 

The second guy Rameez speaks to is at court for a maintenance charge. It's a complex story - initially, his estranged wife had sole custody and did not want financial help, but he voluntarily opted to contribute and so they agreed on a settlement. Now that they share joint custody, he feels that he shouldn't have to pay maintenance any more.
