This past week NABIP or The National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals, held its annual Capitol Conference in Washington, D.C.  The conference attracts insurance professionals from around the country along with legislators to discuss what is going on in the industry.

NABIP represents more than 100,000 licensed health insurance agents, brokers, general agents, consultants, and benefit professionals through more than 200 chapters across America.

The Brokerage Inc. President, Mike Smith, a member of NABIP, attended the conference to get some answers on some important topics facing brokers and others in the industry.  He recently sat down with Gillan to discuss some of those topics.
