Russian Red started gymnastics at the age of 4, and continued to the age of 17. Living by herself in Chicago at 14 to compete in Rhythmic Gymnastics. After ending her Gymnastics career she pivoted to hand balancing, pole fitness, and freestyle calisthenics. She went on to win the Street Workout World Championship 2015.
