What’s mentoring in Coaching ?- Karim Amri CSS: 49
Karim has been elaborating on the importance to differentiate Coaching from Mentoring from Counseling from any Chat with another person.
We highlighted those differences and how important it is to know what we are doing exactly when we are coaching, or when we are mentoring or doing any other teaching or even training.
Today, Karim is going to highlight the importance of Mentoring in coaching. It may sound a bit strange. But yeah, there's Mentoring and coaching.
It is not happening when you are as a coach coaching your clients. It's happening when you are improving. And you are getting better at your skill of coaching, whether at the beginning or even during your journey of coaching.
There’re always things to improve, there's always things to get better. We highlighted before that any coach needs to have a coach because this is a growth journey that one won't stop.
Coaching is a continuous growth journey, we're going to keep growing, keep developing ourselves, and keep getting value from others so that we can add value to our clients and whoever is getting the benefit of our coaching.

Mentoring for us as coaches is what's happening when we are doing our practice.
We have someone who is evaluating our way of coaching.
The mentor is going to be someone who is skilled in coaching, and who's going to be whether watching us directly coaching or reviewing a couple of our recordings so that he can give us advice on what to improve, what you are doing good, what you are strong at and what are the areas of improvement that we need to consider improving.
When we are in the frame, we can see the picture, you cannot see the picture when you're out of the frame.
There's a couple of things that we can't see them. and that's the importance of having a mentor for us as coaches.
Mentoring at the beginning of coaching, is extremely important, as the course that we get to learn to coach.
Having those hours of mentorship at the beginning of our career is of extreme importance.
