François Bernard offers his interpretation of the theme “Take Care!” through the power that raw materials have to ground us in healing sensory pleasure. Within his space, which he has called “Grounded”, luxury rests primarily in making materials sing, along with the accuracy of the design and the strength of the concept. It’s a perceptual terrain with a soothing physicality conducive to sensory experiences and the use of imagination, a marvelous contrast to the virtual nature of our era.

Il est urgent de ralentir. C’est en substance le message de François Delclaux au travers de son espace « Slow Hospitality ». L’hospitalité comme refuge à l’accélération du monde, mais aussi comme moyen de se reconnecter aux paysages et cultures locales de manière plus responsable et durable. En embarquant à bord de son train de nuit, symbole parfait du slow travel, on découvre tour à tour 3 destinations thématiques comme autant d’horizons désirables : tropical modernism, forest glamping et shoreline dream.

We simply must slow down. This is essentially the message from François Delclaux, conveyed through his “Slow Hospitality” space. Hospitality as a refuge from the world’s accelerating pace, but also a way to reconnect with landscapes and local cultures more responsibly and sustainably. By boarding his night train, the ideal symbol of slow travel, we discover a succession of 3 themed destinations that represent desirable future horizons: tropical modernism, forest glamping, and shoreline dream.

Dreams are already a reality. François Delclaux has put them center stage with simple, dreamlike objects. Colors are faded, with powder pink, aqua, and cloudy grey…From the veiled setting, mysteriously gossamer lighting emerges like a dream, and lightweight, poetic furniture softens the edges of everyday life. The theme of utopia is at the heart of experimentation and contemporary debates, François Delclaux tells us. Its shapes can already be seen in this resilient home.

Le rêve est déjà une réalité. François Delclaux le met en scène avec des objets simples et oniriques. Les couleurs sont estompées, rose poudré, vert menthe à l’eau, gris nuageux… Du décor en voilages émergent comme dans un songe luminaires à l’apesanteur mystérieuse, mobilier léger et poétique qui adoucit les arêtes du quotidien. Le thème de l’utopie est au centre des expérimentations et des débats contemporains, explique François Delclaux. Ses formes se dessinent déjà dans cette maison résiliente.
