Earlier this month, Joe Parisi announced that he will be retiring in May 2024 from his job as Dane County Executive, a role he has held since 2011. Once Parisi steps down the County Supervisors will need to appoint an interim executive; however, who those supervisors will be hinges on the results of the spring election on April 2nd, 2024.
