• Palantir Technologies (PLTR) - The company will report quarterly results on Monday before market open. Analysts expect earnings of $0.03 per share on sales of about $470 million.
• Seagate Technologies (STX) - A play on weakening demand in the memory space. Following quarterly results Thursday afternoon, Seagate peer in the memory space, Western Digital (WDC), warned consumer spending for both flash and HDD memory has softened recently.
• Marqeta (MQ) - Shares fell sharply Thursday morning following a report Fidelity National (FIS) -- not Marqeta -- won some business with Block (SQ). Sell-side analysts responded to the report Friday morning; several firms were out in defense of Marqeta, saying the business win was for routing of services and not related to issuance of services.
• Hyliion (HYLN) - A play on downside in peer in the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle space, Hyzon Motors (HYZN). Hyzon shares were down more than 30% Friday morning following news an independent group of company Board members would conduct an investigation to review internal controls and the timing of sales recognition.
• Houston American Energy (HUSA) - A play on attention in low-float stocks with companies in the small-cap petroleum space. Shares of sympathy play with Houston American, US Well Services (USWS), were impacted by a stock split Friday morning.
